This past year I went to Moscow (which has been on my bucket list since college) and it was truly amazing and spectacular. Since I was going for work I didn’t feel comfortable bringing my big DSLR camera (rookie mistake). So I was just taking pictures on my iPhone 7 and editing them on a free app I downloaded (another rookie mistake). When I got home and actually blew them up on the big computer monitor, I hated my edits and thought they looked awful. But I had the mindset of ‘oh well they look good on my phone, who cares?’ Then I discovered Lightroom and the glory of actually editing your photos on a legitimate application and the results are amazing!
It’s amazing and even the ‘auto’ updates made my photos look 100 times better. So I opted for the $10 a month for the Lightroom package because it includes the CC, Photoshop, and the Classic Lightroom (which everyone says is the best). Now, I know Adobe recently changed it payment platform to subscription and that has people mad, I get it but I’ve been complaining for months that my photos are poorly edited so for me it’s a fix to a daily annoyance. It’s honestly changed the way I see all my photos and it still worth it!
So below are my updates to my favorite photos from Russia. Some of the photos I even did a compare and contrast to the original, my edit, auto on Lightroom, and my edit on Lightroom.
