Christmas 2018: Dining Room Table

I was originally going to start this post by saying “my favorite part of Christmas, is the food”…. but then I realized that it’s absolutely impossible to pick just one thing to like about Christmas. But I do love the food and the family getting together, which usually involves the dining room table. This year, I decided to officially decorate the dining room table, it’s a little simple for now but I’m in love with how everything plays off and compliments each other.

One thing that makes me feel very ‘adult’ is having a dining room table, and pretend to have fancy dinner parties and actual serve dinner. In reality, it’s just a storage space for all the mail that I don’t want to open and receipts that need to be thrown away…. except during Christmas! Christmas is the one time a year where I decorate the entire house, every corner, in holiday decor. So the dining table gets cleaned once a year to make way for my Christmas stuff! This year I decided to keep it more simple and just added some pops of green and red.
