Hi Friends! My name is Susan and I’m 29 years old, living in Dallas with my new pup Chloe! I started this blog at the beginning of 2017 to document decorating my first town home, traveling, and of course learning how to ‘adult’. I have such a passion for traveling and photography that I wanted to use this blog as my creative outlet and an online photo album, so to speak.

Everyone says that in order to grow your Instagram following, you need to find your niche and stick to it. Well, idk about you but I can never fall into a niche. I can never just be a traveler or home decor blogger. Truth be hold, my hobbies come in waves. In my blog I’ve decided to embrace this and really make my Instagram about awesome photos and my blog is where I can truly be myself and ‘go where my heart takes me’.

Here’s a couple things you can find on my blog.

Travel: I have a severe case of wanderlust and my boyfriend and I try to take a couple trips a year, if our work schedules allow it. I also travel internationally for work and I love being a tourist and exploring. I’m an anal planner and find that the planning the vacation is often more fun than taking the vacation, so along with photos, I also share my travel guides, places to visit, and of course the best photo ops.

Travel Hacking: This is something new that I’ve been playing with, just in the last year, and that’s using credit card bonus points to pay for my vacations. I consider myself to be a financially responsible 29 year old, but don’t look at my credit card statement 🙂 When I travel, I hate paying for stuff with real money, I prefer to use the points that I’ve accumulated on various credit cards or finding discounts on gift cards. I’ve learned a lot since I started and have a bunch of tips that, I think, are not intuitive. 

Home Decor: I have such a passion for interior design and this blog was originally made to be my creative outlet where I’d share/document my home decor and organization.  Also, more of a diary for me as I was moving into my first town home.
