I know this is the time of year when bloggers put out their Christmas/Holiday wish lists and honestly, we all know it’s fake. This isn’t really what they are asking for…. until now. This is my actual Christmas wish list!Â
Thanksgiving is sometimes overlooked by Christmas, but not in my house because it’s one of my husbands favorite holidays. So naturally, being a naive, newly married couple we decided to host Thanksgiving this year for both our families. For the most part, everything went wonderfully there were still a couple things I didn’t think of, because I’m still a new adult 🙂
Happy first official addition of Wedding Wednesday! Since I’m an artsy person, it seems only fitting that my first post on this series is a creative one. Now I’m not sure when ‘bridesmaids proposal’ gifts became a thing but I think it’s a really cute idea that millennials came up with. Essentially, it’s a gifts that you give your bridesmaids, full of little wedding stuff, when you ask them to be your bridesmaids.
On a normal day, I’m not a DIY person; I’d much rather buy something than make it. However, there are times, and they happen frequently, that I’m looking for something so specific that I have to accept the fact that I have to make something for myself. And the white books that you see in every home decor Instagram is the look that I’m going for and it’s been impossible to find!!! Seriously, I don’t know where they find these white spine books, so we’re making them ourselves.
I can’t believe Chloe is 1 year old! Well… we think she is 1. We got Chloe on November 5 and they said that she was 4 months old, so it just made sense to make her birthday on July 4th. It’s easier to remember and we always have the day off, so it makes it that much easier. That being said, I couldn’t be more obsessed with this kid, she’s so smart and has so much personality that I never expected in a dog.

At the start of December, I set out to make one holiday-themed dessert a week… well it’s Christmas Eve and this is only my second dessert :/ I’ll most likely go on a baking spree between Christmas and New Years to make up for it. But I’ve saved the easiest finger foods for everyone’s holiday parties, Puppy Chow! Also known as Muddy Buddies.
In honor of the holidays, I’ve started making a new holiday dessert every week. But this is the first one #dontjudgemeit’sbeenbusy.Â
Boyfriend and I love going to see Christmas lights! We drive around every year fantasizing about our future home and the crazy Christmas decor we plan to put up. So when we heard about Enchant Christmas, with the largest Christmas lights maze (in the world), we were so excited!
Lucky for Chloe, we had some pumpkin left over from Thanksgiving. So I decided to make Chloe some Thanksgiving treats, since she is too young to eat scraps of people food.
