Dreams really do come true! Ever since we moved in I envisioned what it would be like to take a nap, on a porch swing, in the middle of the pouring rain. It’s been a long road but we’re finally here! Keep reading to see how I turned our pergola into my own little slice of heaven.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with taking photos of everything ! It’s the main reason why I started this blog/Instagram. In the past I would print out all my photos at Costco and stick them into photo albums. But over the years photos have become so digitalized that there almost isn’t a need for albums anymore. Honestly, I still love them! There is something to be said about sitting back and flipping through an album and reliving events from years past. Trust me, it’s not the same as scrolling through old photos on Facebook or Instagram.
Throughout my journey of WFH life, I’ve had one goal in mind: touch every room in my house. The only ‘room’ that’s left is the ‘potty closet’. After my extreme laundry room renovation I was looking for a quick and easy DIY, which really just involves paint. This only takes one day and $60 !
It’s springtime, and another month, which means it’s time for another monthly door reveal! My goal this year was to update my front door every month… or at least every quarter in the summertime. This spring we are going with cliche, but with a twist, fake florals.
One of my favorite things about Pinterest and TikTok is seeing the awesome DIYs that people come up with. It’s even better when I can add little updates to my using items found at the Dollar Store. This quick & cheap DIYs are so much fun and can add some serious character and depth to your home.
Originally, I had planned to slowly update the laundry room throughout the year. And I ended up taking the blunge and completing it in just six months! I’m so happy with how it turned out! The final step of is to add in some accessories and all those little things that make the room functional.
We’re finally doing Part 1 of the Laundry Room update! We did this room completely out of order but that’s okay! It’s finally time to add the countertop over the washer and dryer. This will add so much functional space, maybe I’ll actually fold the laundry the same day I wash it!
Am I the only dog owner who looks at all these advanced kids playhouses and thinks ‘I bet my dog would like that’ ? Or even, ‘as a grownup I would like that’ ? I think about this every time I go onto Pinterest and look at cool doghouses! So I decided to do something about it – I made a super cool doghouse for my dog for less than $150. Now, if only she will use it 🙂
Is it even spring decor if you don’t have bunnies? It’s finally April, which marks the official start of spring decor. This year I haven’t decorated my door with flowers, but rather classic bunnies and eggs in the basic bitch Easter colors: pink, purple, and (of course) blue.
