For me, one of the best thing about being out of an apartment is having a front door and porch to decorate. I’m still working on the porch part but I can start decorating the outside for Christmas!

Wreaths

For years now I see these super cute houses with wreaths on every window and I adore it! I have three windows out front and I’ve been searching the internet for a set of wreaths with red bows. They actually weren’t hard to find but they are crazy expensive ($100+). I’m not a DIY person but I was looking for an easy way to save money.

Luckily, Hobby Lobby came to the rescue! I was able to find full pine wreaths for under $20 a piece. I was even able to get them half off ($10 each) because they were half off ! Fun fact about Hobby Lobby, every week 1/2 the store is 40-50% off and it alternates every week. So if you see something you like and it isn’t on ‘sale’ then come back in a week and it will be on sale.

Finding the red bows was surprisingly harder than I anticipated. I searched a couple different places and, of course, found the perfect shape at Walmart, for only $5.

Overall, I ended up spending $15 per wreath. Maybe next year I’ll add lights to them 🙂
