Holiday Update: the Loft

Holiday Update: the Loft

I absolutely love my little loft area, it’s small and neutral and provides the perfect opportunity to add in holiday pops of color. Which is exactly what I did for Christmas! I do my best work when I have a small area to work with and focus on one little part at a time. Luckily, the entire loft is small. Keep reading for how I made a couple small updates to turn this from a cute, girly space to a traditional, Christmas wonderland… for only $50!

Photo Frame:

One of my favorite accessories for the home are photo frames… to be hones I own too many. This one is one of my favorites because it houses the photo for Chloe’s first Christmas picture with Santa, she was 6 months old and so small and cute!

Wooden Santa:

Honestly, the best part of this room are my wooden Santas that I bought in Russia. I wish I could leave these up all year long! I bought them at a little street market in Moscow but I found a couple on the internet that look really authentic!

Pillows & Throw:

I love pillows and throws, they are an inexpensive way to change the entire theme and feel of a room.

Chair:

Finding a good chair to just sink into after a long day is hard to find! It took me a couple of months to find one that was exactly the right size and length… sadly my dog got jealous of the chair and insisted that I purchase the matching ottoman so she could sit up with me.

Santa Figurine:

Fitz and Floyd make truly beautiful Santa and Christmas-themed figurines. They are a little pricy but they are just perfect for Christmas and look so classy. My mom gifted this one for me when I first moved into my home and it was the perfect housewarming present for my first Christmas.
