Well, hello there online friends! It’s been far too long since I posted on my blog (so much for that New Year’s Resolution). I’m so glad I finally had time this weekend to sit down and write a blog post about how I updated my half bathroom. It all started out with me wanting to paint a wall black, so I picked the smallest wall in the house 🙂

Monthly Mini Makeover – Master Bath (Part 1)

Since I purchased my little townhome two years ago, I’ve been very fortunate in that I haven’t had to any major renovations. The home was only a year and a half old when we bought it so everything is in great shape. Since it’s all in such good condition, I can’t bring myself to spend the money on renovating rooms that don’t fit my particular style. For example, I love the idea of having white cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, BUT it’s such a huge undertaking to replace and even paint cabinets that it just doesn’t make much sense. That being said, in the last couple months, I’ve been able to brainstorm ways to transform my master bath into the southern-glam feel that I’m going for, without breaking the bank or doing any major renovations.

For me, one of the best thing about being out of an apartment is having a front door and porch to decorate. I’m still working on the porch part but I can start decorating the outside for Christmas!
